, 本期通訊含有董事會通告一則, 目的在提醒會員要在三月底之前完成2025年度會員身分的延續, 才能參與中心開設的課程與活動, 並避免受到$5的逾期罰款. 請ZOOM班的老師與班長注意, 凡是居住在美國加州Contra Costa 以及 Alameda 的同學, 也照樣需要保持康鶴會員的身分才能在班上上課. 謝謝大家的合作, 以下是董事會通告的英文原文.
Please note the following announcement from the GCSC Board in the Newsletter. It serves to remind the GCSC members to complete membership renewal before the end of March in order to continue class participation and avoid a $5 penalty. Zoom class members also need to renew their membership if they reside in Contra Costa or Alameda county.
“Effective April 1, 2025, a $5 late fee will be added to membership fee for renewal after March 31, 2025. Based on the GCSC guidelines (#3, section a.), renewal registration is to be completed before the end of first quarter, March 31 annually. The center has been lenient about this rule, it is time for us to enforce the rule. This late fee will be imposed to all members that has been coming to class since January 2025, and has not completed the renewal registration. We appreciate all members for their prompt membership renewal before the first quarter.”

Hopefully it will be soon the difficult time is over and we can return for daily classes and activities. With the number of Coronavirus case still high in California, It looks like the pandemic is not getting better.
