*** 注意事項 PLEASE NOTE ***(1) 伊士曼老師6/25的課(10:50-12:10, 小教室)已被取消, 連同7/23, 8/27和9/24的課都要暫停, 等伊士曼老師回來後再行恢復. 7/23的課將由魯肇煌老師做旅遊報告, 8月9月的課也將會做適當的安排.Teacher Eastman’s class on 6/25 (10:50-12:10 small classroom) has been cancelled!! He also cancelled 7/23, 8/27 & 9/24 classes. 7/23 class will be replaced by a “Travel Talk” offered by Stephen Lu. (2) 7月2日星期二(9:00-12:00 small classroom), 康鶴攝影社會員Kenneth Kay 將在課堂討論有關使用iPhone攝影事項, 歡迎康鶴會員參加聽講.Kenneth Kay will discuss topics related to iPhone photography at the July 2 Camera Club meeting (small class 9 – 12). Election of Board Chair and Directors
Dear GCSC members:
Followed the GCSC Bylaws and organizational guidelines, the Board of Directors (BOD) have made decision for the Center Directorship of year 2020. Due to the tremendous workload increase for next year, BOD has agreed to elect two Center Directors to share the responsibilities and activities.
The Board unanimously voted to elect Ms. Juliana Wong and Ms. Anita Wong to be Center Directors for the year 2020. Both candidates graciously accepted the positions. Congratulations to these two very capable Center Directors and please give them your blessings and supports.
Another important change for the GCSC Board of Directors is the new chairman for the next year. I have the honor to serve as the chair of Board of Directors for last few years. It is a privilege and honor to have your trust and support for these years. Now is the time for new leadership and Mr. Yeao-Nan Hsieh has been elected as the chair of BOD, starting on January 1st, 2020. Congratulations to Mr. Hsieh and please give him your heartily supports and assistance.
